Questions, answered
Your wallet is. Your seed phrase and keys are created and encrypted on your device, and we never see them. If you use trading or buying power, Oyster holds that USDT and any PRL you keep on the exchange for you.
Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore your wallet on a new device. We cannot recover it for you, so write it down and keep it somewhere safe and offline.
Oyster uses Pearl's standard BIP-86 Taproot derivation, so your wallet is compatible with the official Pearl tooling and can be restored anywhere that supports it.
Trading runs on the SafeTrade exchange. Oyster places your orders there and sends bought PRL straight to your wallet, so you can trade PRL without leaving it.
Oyster works in Chrome and every Chromium browser: Brave, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc and more, all from the Chrome Web Store. On phones and other browsers, use the web app at wallet.oysterwallet.app and add it to your home screen. Firefox is on the roadmap.
